Investment and job creation throughout the County
Grays Harbor Community Hospital has completed a $6 million upgraded Emergency Department and has newly purchased a 64 slice CT Scanneronly one of four in the state.
Five Star Motors currently has four auto dealerships in the harbor area covering the three major auto manufacturers: General Motors, Ford Motor Company, and Chrysler Motors.
Grays Harbor College has completed the $21 million, 68,000sqft Manspeaker Instructional Building. They have also begun the design of a new Science/Math/Art Building. They have recently opened a new Automotive/Welding technology facility.
The Warm Company just expanded with a new 30,000sqft manufacturing facility in Elma.
Seabrook, north of Ocean Shores has completed 75 units of a 400 unit planned development. They have sold over 110 units to date.
The County has experienced a 21 percent increase in retail sales growth since 2002.
The Ocean Shores area tourist count exceeded 4 million visitors during 2007.
Ocean Shores has completed a 29,000sqft Convention Center.

Grays Harbor County Growth
Grays Harbor County has experienced growth that hasnt been seen in over two decades. New development is occurring throughout the County Retail, commercial, and industrial. While it is almost impossible to document all of the new developments, we have recorded much of it.
Following is a partial list of projects that 1) have been completed in the last 18 months, 2) projects that are in development, and 3) projects that have been announced for the future.
Imperium Renewables completed a 100 million gallon BioDiesel plant in 2007, producing their first 1 million gallons by September.
Grays Harbor Paper and Grays Harbor PUD partnered to create a $9 million 10 MW powerhouse fueled 100% with BioMass materials.
Aberdeen High School opened a new $60 million high school in September 2007.
Ocean Spray expanded their operation to include a new $36 million Craison line.
Ocean Gold is building a new 92,000sqft processing plant and cold storage within Westport.
